The Elgin Community Foundation, whose motto is “A lifetime commitment to the future of Elgin”, is encouraging residents near and far to consider a gift to the foundation before the end of the year.
To kick off the fund-raising campaign, the Bank of Elgin donated $1,000 last week.
The Foundation’s Board of Directors are asking you to help ensure that the treasures of Elgin will be available for future generations. Working together, we can build on what is best about Elgin to make it even better.
In 2007 many people in the Elgin area combined resources to create a community endowment with the hope of promising our quality of life to future generations.
Right now the Elgin Community Foundation, an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation, is working hard to prepare our community for a future of prosperity by preserving our wealth, investing in our people today and building resources for tomorrow’s opportunities.
