On display now at the Elgin Review and Elgin Pharmacy as well as other outlets is a children’s book written by former St. Boniface Elementary School teacher Teresa Heying.
Titled “Fishing with Grandpa” the book marks Heying’s first foray into the publishing world. Noting how fun books that rhyme have always been her favorite to read to children, Mrs. Heying said the story is about her granddaughter Avery Burgert, who likes to go fishing with grandpa Bob Heying. Avery is the daughter of Jay and Alyss Burgert.
