Figures released earlier this month by the Antelope County Assessor’s office show the county’s valuation up significantly from one year ago.
Assessor Heather McWhorter provided figures Friday showing the county’s taxable valuation now at $1,253,856,804. The figures is up by more than $92 million from one year ago when the taxable value was set at $1,161,286,739.
In Antelope County, Elgin District 18’s taxable valuation has been set at $302,890,840.
For the City of Elgin, their taxable valuation for 2011 has been set at $24,122,532.
