Work began last week on the demolition of the old Elgin Veterans Club to make way for a new medical clinic building in Elgin.
Workers demolished both the clinic building and the former Elgin Veteran’s Club.
According to J. Cockerill, public relations coordinator for Boone County Health Center, final approval for the Elgin Veterans’ Medical Clinic project was given by the Boone County Health Center’s Board of Trustees in a special meeting held June 24.
