Alumni from Elgin High and St. Boniface High Schools will be returning Saturday to attend banquets here in Elgin.
The Elgin High School Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday evening, June 23.
The location for this year’s event has changed. In previous years the banquet was held in the Elgin High School gymnasium. This year the banquet will be held in the air-conditioned Knights of Columbus Hall.
The banquet will begin at 7 p.m. Prior to the banquet an open house will be held at Elgin Public Schools. Honor classes are 1942, 1952, 1962, 1972, 1982, 1987, 1992, 2002 and 2012.
After the meal is served, there will be the announcement of scholarships to be awarded to several 2012 EHS graduates.
Also, the Honored Alumnus Award will be presented.
St. Boniface
Alumni from St. Boniface High School will again gather to reminisce about days gone by.
The annual alumni banquet will be held Saturday night, June 23.
The schedule for the evening is Mass at St. Boniface Catholic Church at 5:30 p.m. Social hour will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Dinner will begin at 7:15 p.m. at the Elgin Community Center.
No tickets will be sold at the door.
This year’s honor classes are 1942, 1947, 1952, 1957, 1962 and 1967.
