The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Extension in Garfield, Loup & Wheeler Counties, the Burwell Affiliate of the Nebraska Cattlemen, and Arrow Seed is proud to announce that they will be sponsoring an Alfalfa Field Day on Thursday, July 9, 2009. The site for the event will be an alfalfa field of Vaughn Svoboda’s located 1 mile west of Ord on the Sargent road. The site will be on the north side of the road.
The entire program should be completed by 3:00 p.m. Producers will be learning how to improve their productivity of alfalfa hay.
