Celebration of Life for Albert W. Schindler age 83 of Neligh, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh with Pastor John Petersen, Officiating.  Visitation will be 9:00 am to time of service.
Albert passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh.  Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
In Lieu of Flowers family would like donations to Neligh American Legion or charity of choice.

Albert William Schindler was born on March 10, 1931 to George and Rose (Crocker) Schindler in Ewing, Ne.  He attended rural country school in Ewing.
In entered the United States Army on March 19, 1952 at Omaha, NE and was discharged on February 5, 1954 at Camp Carson Colorado.  During this time he serviced in the Korea War.
On July 15, 1961 he was united in marriage to Evelyn Scholl at St. John’s Catholic in rural Clearwater.
He was a security guard in Omaha, farmed, and worked at S&S Country General/Bomgaars.  Albert liked to watch TV, fish and hunt.
He was a member of Neligh American Legion Post #172 and VFW.  “Grandpa” loved spending time with family and friends and making people laugh and bringing them joy.
Survived by his wife, Evelyn of Neligh, NE.  Children: Kim and husband, Russ Marsh of Yankton, SD, Jeff Schindler of Neligh, NE, Scott and wife, Lanee Schindler of Yankton, SD, and Matt and wife, Krista Schindler of Neligh, NE.  Nine grandchildren: Logan, Noah, and Calvin Marsh; Chelsea and Shelby Schindler; Tyler and Cameron Schindler; Alex and Adan Schindler.  Two great Grandchildren: Mason and Everly DeJonge.  Brother and sisters:  Otto Schindler of Neligh, Eddie & Marlene Schindler of Neligh, NE, Freddie Schindler of Norfolk, NE, Georgia Hoefer of Neligh, NE, Sharon and Don Lallier of Orchard, NE, and Rita and Stan Clifton of Orchard, NE.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janet Kallhoff.  Infant daughter, Mary.  Infant granddaughter of Savanah Schindler.
