The Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben Foundation and the Omaha World-Herald have announced the 67th annual Good Neighbor Award recipients. Later this year, award winners will be recognized at their local county fair with a certificate and Good Neighbor lapel pin.
Recognized from Antelope County was Elgin’s Bev Alderson
Alderson was selected because she “waters her neighbor’s flowers when they are gone and picks up their newspapers. She shares produce from her garden with others. She manages the Antelope County food pantry, mows the lawn at her church and teaches Sunday School class.”
