Orvilla R.”Butch” Bivin, 68 of Elgin, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Neligh, NE.
A me-morial visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Huffman-Levander Funeral Home in Elgin. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Orvilla Rae Bivin, daughter of James Orville and Bernadine Marie (Partridge) Hembree, was born April 15, 1946 at Loveland, CO.
She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Johnstown, CO. She worked various jobs, often including housekeeping.
Butch married Dale Dennis in 1966 and the couple lived in Greeley, CO. In 1972, Dale passed away and Butch moved.
She lived many various places, never staying too long in any one town.
On January 8, 1987, she married Leonard Stanley Bivin in Nevada. They lived in Carson City, NV where Butch did housekeeping, and took schooling to fix and repair slot machines. In 1996, they divorced and Butch moved to Idaho where she lived with her sister Sharon for eight years.
She moved to Elgin, NE in 2002 where she worked in housekeeping at the Elgin One Stop. She entered the Golden Living Center in Neligh, NE in June 2014, where she passed away Monday, August 11, 2014, following a battle with cancer.
She is survived by three siblings: Sharon S. Floth of Boise, ID; Carole J. (Robert) Getzfred of Elgin, NE; Richard (Cheryl) Hembree of Greeley, CO; one sister-in-law: Angela Hembree of Manchester, NH; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Butch was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dale Dennis Sr.; son Dale Dennis Jr.; brother Jack L. Hembree; and brother-in-law George Floth.
