Reward Offered In Connection With Street Sign Vandalism

Vandals turned their attention to Elgin over the weekend as a number of streets signs were either broken or stolen.
According to Antelope County Sheriff Bob Moore, 11 street signs from various locations in the community were vandalized or stolen sometime between midnight and 4 a.m. early Saturday morning. Replacement costs of the signs will likely make the spree a felony.
The City of Elgin is offering a $200 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for the damage and theft.
