The last event of the Elgin Q125 celebration promises to be one of the loudest and most beautiful.
Beginning at approximately 10 p.m. on Sunday night, June 22, a fireworks display will light up the sky.
Elgin Fire Chief Jim Kittleson said the fireworks display will take place on the east end of the Koinzan Airport runway..
“It should be a heckuva show,” he said about the display which will last somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes.
