Q125 Fundraiser Breakfast To Be Held Sunday

The Elgin Community Club will be holding a fundraiser Sunday morning for the upcoming Q125 celebration in 2014.
Meeting Monday night at the Steel Steed Steakhouse & Saloon, club members went over final details for the ‘pancake breakfast’ to be held Sunday morning in the cafeteria at Elgin High School.
The breakfast will run from 8 a.m. to noon. Items to be served will be pancakes, egg bake, link sausage, coffee and juice. There will be a variety of pancake toppings, according to chairperson Gwen Koinzan. She said they will be using the PJCC’s pancake grill. Sausage to be served will be from Dean’s Market. Also, Greenline Equipment is donating serviceware and the Bank of Elgin will be contributing cups and napkins.
Admission to the breakfast is a free will offering.
A special invitation has been extended to all the workers on the wind towers in connection with Prairie Breeze Wind Energy to come to the breakfast, Koinzan said.
Community Club members wishing to volunteer to help should contact Koinzan.
The Q125 celebration was also the topic of a report given to club members.
