Antelope County Assessor Heather McWhorter last week announced valuations for school districts and other tax sub-divisions, another step forward in the budgeting process for Fiscal Year 2013.
Elgin School District #18 saw its Antelope County valuation increased by more than $58 million. The new valuation has been set at $404,707,805, up from $345,838,249 one year ago. Two years ago, the valuation was $302,890,840. In Boone County, the school district’s valuation was set at $30,942,311, up from $24,266,531 one year ago. In Wheeler County, the school’s district’s valuation was set at $11,528,840, up from $10,466,879 one year ago.
