It’s being called ‘a chance to say goodbye.’
The St. Boniface Elementary School building will be open for people to walk through on three separate occasions in July and August.
The building will be open for persons to walk through (there will be no guided tours) on the following dates and times:
July 27 — 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., prior to the PJCC Alumni Mass
July 28 — 11 a.m. to Noon
August 24 — School open following the 5:30 p.m. Mass (during the Parish Picnic)
The school building will be closed to the public after Aug. 24, 2013.
The building will no longer be used to educate St. Boniface Elementary School students. Those students will continue their education inside the Pope John facility starting this fall. The St. Boniface school building will be demolished following Elgin’s Q125 celebration in 2014.
