Summer reading will begin in June. Our theme this year is “Dig Into Reading”. Each Monday and Wednesday morning in June we will have story time. It will last 45 minutes and be led by the Way Out West 4-H club members.
Each Thursday in June we will have an activity time for school age children (age 6 and up) from 1-2 p.m. beginning June 6.
Also, on Thursday June 6 we will have a program “Dig Deep: Discover” by Mad Science of Iowa. The program will be from 3:30-4:15 p.m. at the Community Center. The program is appropriate for all ages.
Last week we submitted an article in the paper about computer classes we will be having. One of the dates was wrong. The Excel 2010 class is May 28 and June 4 from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
The Photo Book Creation class is Monday, June 17 from 6:30-9:30 p.m., and on Tuesday, June 18, we will have a Facebook class from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Call or come in to sign up.
