PJCC One-Act Play Team Headed to State

Pope John XXIII Central Catholic’s one-act play team is headed to state!
Competing Monday at the D2-2 District play production competition held at Wayne State College, PJCC placed first in a competition against seven other schools.
Performing “The Penny Dreadfuls”, PJCC’s one-act play was judged the best over entries from Cedar Rapids, Elgin High, Greeley Wolbach, Lindsay Holy Family, Newman Grove, St. Edward and Wheeler Central.
By virtue of their performance, they will advance to the State Play Production competition to be held Thursday, Dec. 6, on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Director of the play is Karmen Sauser. Assistant director is Peggy Payne.
