Thank you to the EMTs and Volunteer Fire Department for responding quickly to my call. The Elgin community is a wonderful place to live in. Everyone is always concerned and always helpful.

The Elgin Community Club would like to thank everyone who helped with and attended the annual Steak Fry. Special thanks to Dean’s Market for supplying the steaks-as-big-as-your-head rib eyes, the guys manning the grill for cooking them to perfection, the ladies (Kim, Debbie, Juan & their helpers) for the roasted potatoes, green beans & cucumber salads, CVA for delivering and picking up the tables, Beckman Lumber for the use of their tables, The Steel Steed for taking care of the bar & drinks, Duane and Sandy Kerkman for the use of their perfect setting known for year’s as Floberts (now Kerkman’s Kove), our DJ for the night Alan who kept the tunes going, and everyone else who helped in any way. As we and other groups are preparing for our part in the Q125 celebration, we appreciate everyone who supports these fundraisers. Thank you!
