CARD OF THANKS:

“Thanks” is such a small word for the enormity of words and deeds that have been said and done for our family during Kenneth’s illness this past more than a year.  To Father Ross and Sister Leta and the friends who visited him in both the hospitals and our home; to the dedicated and outstanding personnel at Boone County Health Center, Faith Regional Hospital, and Antelope Memorial Hospital; to the EMT’s who faithfully and promptly answered our many calls; to the EMHC who came despite the “bother”; to all of you who brought food throughout this time to our home, the wake and the funeral dinner; to the ladies who worked at the wake and funeral; to our neighbors who mowed the lawn and did many acts of kindness; to the hundreds of you who sent cards and gifts; to this far-reaching community for your overwhelming concern and kind words – we say “Thank You.”

How do we begin to thank everyone for all the support and prayers we have received over the past two years. William had many ups and downs since his heart surgery and so many have been there for us. Staring with the Elgin ambulance crew for their quick response to our calls, the staff at Antelope Memorial  for their care and concern; and the staff at Golden Living and Hospice for their gentle care the last four months. Thank you to Pastor Davis for his kind words at the service; Pam, Doug & Deb for the beautiful music and the Church Women for providing and serving the meal. To our neighbors and friends for all the prayers, cards, memorials, flowers, phone calls and food brought to our home and the church. Thank you to the American Legion, VFW, U.S. Army Guard and the Freedom Riders for their presence and escort, it was a very moving experience. Thank You!
