Wolfpack Blank West Boyd 60 to 0

ELGIN — Just as in ancient times, a pack of Wolves would easily slaughter a team of Spartans. Nothing has changed as on Friday night the EPPJ Wolfpack crushed West Boyd 60 to 0.

Coach Carlie Wells played his starters for just over one quarter as they put up 46 points on the scoreboard.

It would be hard to tell who was more impressive — the Wolfpack offense or defense. The offense scored every time they had the ball in the early going. The defense? The had the Spartans’ offense going backwards in the first half.

EPPJ opened scoring in the first quarter as junior quarterback Ross Schindler carried the pigskin 25 yards into the endzone.

After a Blake Anderson sack of freshman quarterback Joey Colfack forced the Spartans to punt, the Wolfpack were back in the endzone three plays later. Taking scoring honors this time was Nash Schindler with a 19-yard run. Anderson added the two-point conversion.
