Antelope County Fair Begins Tuesday

The Antelope County fair is set to kickoff next week.

Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 2, the fair will run through the weekend. Activities will take place at the fairgrounds and Riverside Park.

On the opening day of the fair, there will be a 4-H/FFA/Open Class dog show at 9 a.m., a cat show at 1 p.m. and small pets show at 3 p.m.

On Thursday, the dairy show and horse show will be held.

Friday activities include a horse show at 8:30 a.m. Also at that time the poultry show will be held. Rabbits will take center stage at 1 p.m. followed the the small animal round robin contest. Later in the afternoon, 4:30 p.m., goats and sheep will be judged.
