The NEN Xtreme 2011 summer all-star basketball teams have been announced. Members of the 15u/Freshman team include Elgin’s Stephanie Bode. Other team members are Yankton, SD’s Morgan Tessier; Norfolk’s Skyler Starkel; Laurel’s Cameron Eddie; Randolph’s Emily Schnoor and Michaela Strathman; Norfolk Catholic’s Jennifer Keenan; Wakefield’s Lauren Lehmkuhl; Wynot’s Maggie Schulte and Lindsay Holy Family’s Kaylee Jensen. The 15u team is being coached by Shanna Lammers.The team will play tournaments in Omaha, Lincoln, Kearney, Minneapolis, Minn., and in Iowa. Club director Brandon Schaecher established the organization to allow Northeast and North Central Nebraska talent to compete at a higher level against teams from across the U.S. and to also get college exposure.
