Pope John students have enjoyed success at the State Speech Meet. This year proved to be no exception as their lone entry came away with a state medal.
Junior Olivia Borer competed Friday at the Class D-2 State Speech Competition held at the University of Nebraska-Kearney campus.
Competing in informative speaking, Miss Borer earned a fourth place medal for her efforts.
