‘Save Your Seat’ Campaign Goal Surpassed

Thanks to generous donations from friends and patrons, the Elgin Knights of Columbus have met their goal in the “Save Your Seat” fund drive.

Several weeks ago,  the Council purchased new folding chairs for use in the Knight’s hall.

Donations during the last week which helped meet the goal were from the following: Ray Braband, June Kerkman, Herman Starman, John and Tracy Beckman, Allen Dozler, Melinda Buelt, Paul Hoefer, Lonnie Dinslage, Tony Kamphaus, Dave and Janice Eischeid, Joe Buelt, Paul Kuhlman and one anonymous.

Previous donors included:  Joe & Connie  Seier, Kevin & Pam DInslage, Eve Kallhoff, Eugene Boes, Kyle Warren, Terry & Michele Reicks, St. Boniface Altar Society, Council #2411, Sunset Second Hand Store, The Council Holding Officers, Dean & Mary Jane Henn, Todd Heithoff, JoAnn Dinslage, Mel & Dorothy Heithoff, Sr. Leta Heese, Barb Ives, Juan Hoefer, Pat Starman, Jerome Roth, Betty Salber, Robert Schrage, Dave Beckman, Al Schrage, Lyle & Betty Mackel, Peg Schindler, Angela Meis, Commodity Solutions (Jed Christiansen) and four “anonymous”.

The Knights of Columbus and the Council Holding Company appreciate the great response to this need and can’t thank the community and donors enough for their support on this project.  In addition to the chairs, two more chair carts are being built for storage purposes.
