EHS Seniors Receive Diplomas, Scholarships

Their motto was “Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” Those words, written by Ralph Waldo Emerson, will come to symbolize the Class of 2010 which graduated Saturday evening at Elgin High School. Nine seniors marched in to “Pomp and Circumstance” played on the piano by Deb Jones. Less than an hour later, they marched out as graduates, embarking on a new chapter in their young lives.
