1948 – 2010

Dave “Pardner” Grundman Sr., 62, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Memorial Medical Hospital in Springfield, Ill. 

Memorial services will be held at Penn Lake in Neligh, Nebraska, on Saturday, April 17 at 7 p.m.

Dave C Grundman Sr, the son of Carl and Fern (Sexy) Grundman, was born March 28, 1948 in Iowa City, IA. 

As a child he lived in many places but as an adult he lived in the Norfolk, NE area. Then moved to Oakdale, NE for 12 years before moving to Illinois.

He was a member of the Trans World Side Banders X-ray Club. He was a stock car owner/driver and worked Security in the area. He owned DJ’s Electronics where he sold and repaired C.B. radios. In addition, he also performed mechanical work and scrapped vehicles. 

‘Pardner’ loved to camp, fish, hunt with his family and friends. For the past three years he lived in Illinois where he was happy with his fiance Billie Smith. 

He was survived by his daughter Dalynna Robertson and husband Tommie Jr. of Elgin, Neb. Jessica Grundman of Oakdale, Neb. and a son David C. Grundman Jr. of Oakdale, Neb. and fiancé Billie Smith of White Hall, Ill., sisters Mary Peterson and husband Lemar of Fremont, Neb., and Velma Washka and husband Joe of LaVista, Neb., three grandsons and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Grundman, mother Fern (Sexy) Ochsner, sister Beth Ann Reeves, and son Jeff Grundman.
