Kuester Inducted into EPS Athletic Hall of Fame

During his years as an Elgin High School Eagle, Bill Kuester became accustomed to hearing cheers from the crowd, whether it was on the football field or on the basketball court.

During halftime of the Elgin Public-Pope John vs. Chambers basketball game, he again heard the cheers from the crowd as he became the most recent inductee to the Elgin Public School Athletic Hall of Fame.

The gym was filled to near capacity as fans, friends and family turned out to honor one of the most decorated athletes in school history.

Carlie Wells, Jerry Mundorf and Randy Nelson were on hand to welcome Kuester into a very exclusive club.

Kuester thanked his family, his teammates and many supporters during his career after being presented a plaque by Nelson.
