Parish Mission to Be Held February 21-23

St. Boniface Catholic Church in Elgin will be the site for a Parish Mission/Forty Hours event to be held Sunday through Tuesday, Feb. 21-23. 

The mission will be held in the contest of 40 hours devotion to the Holy Eucharist.

Father Scott Courtney, serving as retreat master, has asked that everyone bring their own Bible to the evening talks.

Schedule for the Mission is as follows:

Sunday, February 21

7 p.m. — Exposition, Evening Prayer, Talk and Benediction (refreshments to follow)

8:30 p.m. and following — Eucharistic Adoration by parishoners.

Monday, February 22

11 a.m. — Mass

Noon — Workers please try to come to adoration over your lunch hour

3 p.m. — Divine Mercy Chaplet

6:30 p.m. — Rosary

7 p.m. — Evening Prayer, Talk and Benediction (refreshments to follow)

8:30 p.m. and following — Adoration by parishoners.

Tuesday, February 23

8:15 a.m. — Mass

Noon — Workers please try to come to adoration over your lunch hour

3 p.m. — Divine Mercy Chaplet

6:30 p.m. — Rosary

7 p.m. — Evening Prayer, Talk and Benediction (refreshments to follow)

Thursday, February 24

7 p.m. — Parish Celebration of Reconciliation will take place at the church.
