Well-attended last year, Elgin Public Schools will again hold a “Donuts For Dads” event in October.
Elementary students at the school are encouraged to have their father join them in the gymnasium on Thursday morning, Oct. 13, for juice, milk, donuts and some reading before school. If dad can’t attend, students are encouraged to find a substitute for the activity which will begin at 7:30 a.m.
