PJCC Students High Achievers At Scholastic Day

scholasticday-elginreview1Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High School students excelled today (Wednesday, March 30) at the Northeast Community College Scholastic Contest/Quiz Bowl.

According to PJCC’s Julie Buhrenheide, “Overall, we finished 2nd as a team in Class D!”  Excellent job!

The PJCC students and how they placed:

1st place- Kyle Schumacher in Agriscience, Brody Hupp in American History and Logan Henn in Biology
2nd place- Logan Henn in World History, Wenting Yu in Chemistry, Chase Preister in Body & Frame Dimension Diagnosis, Kyle Schumacher in Geometry, Sydney Kerkman in Music and Brody Hupp in Vocabulary
3rd place- Marie Meis in Public Speaking
4th place- Marie Meis in Algebra II, Ryan Pelster in Technical Math and Whitney Walker Moore in Computer Literacy
5th place- Terri Seier in English Composition and Shantel Preister in Parenting/Child Development
6th place- Sydney Kerkman in Business English and Jenna Parks in Intro To Psychology
