We have this week’s Pride of the Pack selected. This week’s athletes are Jenna Parks and Alois Warner.
While the Wolfpack fell just short in the district final volleyball match, they all played with great heart and effort – making this week’s player a bit tougher than some. Chosen was Jenna Parks. The senior hitter notched 12 kills in that final match against Crofton. Defensively, she had 4 solo blocks, 6 digs and 13 set assists.
The football boys rolled over the defending D1 State Champion Hemingford team. The line was a BIG factor in the win on a cold and breezy field in Hemingford. Senior Alois Warner helped anchor an offensive line that gave their teammates plenty of running room, allowing them to grind out 413 yards on the field. Alois had 7 tackles (1 solo) and in his role as our “kick off” man, he booted 6 for a total of 212 yards.
The Wolfpack continue their post-season play. Tonight’s quarter final match will feature a rematch between the EPPJ and Clearwater-Orchard here in Elgin.
