ELGIN — The Wolfpack notched their 19th match victory Tuesday night, defeating Neligh/Oakdale 25-21 and 25-14 at St. Boniface gymnasium.
Wolfpack hitters were 52 of 68 in attacks. Jenna Parks and Liz Selting led the way with seven kills apiece, Amy Nelson had four followed by Terri Seier, Paige Meis and Jill Schindler with one each. The Warriors were led by Danae Smith with six of the team’s 12 kills.
Parks and Selting each had one ace serve in the match. As a team, EPPJ was 45 of 49 serving. The Warriors recorded five ace serves, led by Shelby Keetle with two.
Seier and Parks each had two solo blocks. For Neligh/Oakdale, Chae Vleck had five.
Jordan Mescher led EPPJ with nine digs in the match, Parks had six and Baylee Wemhoff added five. Kelsey Green led the Warriors with 16 digs.
Parks and Wemhoff tied for the team-high in set assists with nine, Schindler had two. Haley Kerkman led the Warriors with eight set assists. Mescher led EPPJ in serve receive with 15. Smith led the Warriors with 16.
Earlier action
The Wolfpack started the night with a victory over Riverside, 22-25, 25-8 and 25-22.
The Wolfpack were 96 of 116 in attacks, led by Seier with 13 kills, Selting and Parks each had 10, Nelson added nine and Meis had two. Riverside was led by Karen Scheits with 13.
Nelson and Mescher each had two ace serves for the Wolfpack, Wemhoff and Selting each had one. As a team, EPPJ was 66 of 72 serving. Riverside was 55 of 55 serving with two ace serves.
Seier led blockers with five solo blocks, Parks and Nelson each had two, Meis and Schindler each had one. Fina Choat led the Chargers with two.
Mescher and Parks tied for the team-high in digs with six apiece. Schmeits led Riverside with seven.
Parks had a team-high 18 set assists, Wemhoff added 13 and Schindler had five. Baylee Wlaschin led Riverside with 22.
Mescher topped the Wolfpack in serve receive with 15, Selting had 13, Parks added seven and Nicole Beckman posted five.
