Wolfpack Golf Team Wins Quad

EWING — The Wolfpack golf team picked up right where they left off last season, again showing why they are one of the best teams in the area.
Competing Tuesday at Summerland Golf Course, the Wolfpack won a quadrangular meet which included teams from Clearwater-Orchard, Elkhorn Valley and Ewing.
Weather conditions were not ideal for golf as temperatures were in the 40s and the air was damp.
The Wolfpack, coached by Jacob Sladky, posted a team score of 194 to easily defeat the Cyclones who turned in a score of 213.
Ewing and Elkhorn Valley did not have enough players to compete in the team competition.
Medalist for the varsity was Kyle Heithoff who carded a nine-hole score of 46.
Other Wolfpack varsity scores were Regan Kerkman 49, Jack Borer 58, Liam Heithoff 52 and Kalin Henn 47. Cyclone team scores were Trevor Mlnarik 51, Riley Snider 54, Keelie Meyer 53, Jacob Twibell 55 and Cameron Bolling 61.
In the JV competition, the Wolfpack were led by sophomore Chad Bode who shot a 41.
Other Wolfpack JV scores were Miles Schrage 50 and Evan Schindler 53.
