Roger Henn, 83, of Albion (formerly of Battle Creek), passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 9, 2015, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Battle Creek, NE.
Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. James F. McCluskey and Deacon Tom Hughes. Interment will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery will full military rites. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thursday, January 8, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Battle Creek.
Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne.

Roger George Henn was born September 18, 1931, to Sylvester “Vet” and Ada (Stokes) Henn south of Elgin. He attended and graduated from St. Boniface school. Roger married Marjorie Kubes September 28, 1953, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Battle Creek. Roger served in the U.S. Army at Ft. Riley, KS from January 1953 to December 1954.
Following his discharge, the couple moved to a farm north of Battle Creek where they raised their nine kids and operated a dairy farm. Roger married Joan (Fisher) Hupp October 3, 2007. They resided both in Albion and Chandler, AZ.
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion in Albion.
Roger is survived by his wife Joan, children; Therese (Justin) Zeigler, of Tucson, AZ,  Patricia (John) Remus, and Joan (JR) Walber, of Omaha, Mike (Marsha) Henn, of Battle Creek, Barb (Kevin) Connot, of Allen, Susan (Allen) Penas, of Waverly, Mary Kay (Scott) Hasemann, of Wayne, Nancy (Dwight) Praeuner, of Battle Creek, Kristen (Dennis) Richardson, Wallingford, CT, stepsons; Dr. Brad (Michelle) Hupp of  Venice, FL, Corey (Mary) Hupp of Palm Desert,   CA, Rob (Gretchen) Hupp of Stanton, 23 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and 10 step-grandchildren, one step-great grandson, brothers; Floyd (Marlene) Henn of Clearwater, Dean (Mary) Henn, Danny (Raedean) Henn and Terry (Jan) Henn all of Elgin; nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie in January 1991; and sisters; Delores Henn, Janie Overton, and Lois Camp, each in 2010, and Lois’ husband, Bob, in 2013.
