ELGIN — Senior Blake Schrage accounted for three touchdowns Friday night to help lead the Wolfpack to their second win of the season, 50 to 6 over Bloomfield.
To say the Bees got ‘stung’ would be an understatement. They came into the game with a 4-1 record, having lost to Creighton. The Wolfpack entered the game with a 1-4 record, their only victory coming last week over Niobrara-Verdigre.
For awhile, the Bees and the Wolfpack gave each other their best shot.
The Wolfpack jumped out to a 14 to 0 lead in the first quarter. Schrage had a seven-yard touchdown run early in the quarter, then senior quarterback Alex Pelster lit up the scoreboard with a five-yard score.
