Matt and Kara Pelster are the proud parents of a son, Liam Ralph Pelster, born on March 12, 2012. He weighed eight pounds, 11 ounces at birth and was 21.5 inches long. Grandparents are Ralph and Debe Pelster of Petersburg; and Bart and Sandi Koinzan of Neligh.
Great grandparents are Jerri Koinzan of Neligh, Ralph and Helen Strotheide of Chadron, Viola Pelster of Elgin, Dale and Mary Stevenson from Oklahoma.

Benjamin James Koenig, 85, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Neligh.
Visitation will be Friday, March 30, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Huffman-Levander Funeral Home in Elgin, and from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. A wake service will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 31, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Elgin. Huffman-Levander Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Notice of Hearings — Board of Supervisors

The Antelope County Board of Supervisors will hold 2 public hearings on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Antelope County Courthouse.
The first public hearing, beginning at 10:15 am, will be held to review a conditional use permit submitted by Ron Schrad for the proposed construction of an addition to his home located in the SW ¼ 17-23-7, Antelope County Nebraska.
The second hearing, scheduled to begin at 10:25 am, will be to review a conditional use permit submitted by PST for the proposed pumping of effluent through center pivots on the following areas: S ½ SE ¼ 17-26-6 and W ½ 15-26-6 Antelope County Nebraska.
The conditional use permits may be examined in the office of the Antelope County Clerk or the Zoning Office during normal business hours at any time prior to the public hearings.  All interested parties may offer oral comments at the public hearings and/or may file written comments with the Antelope County Board of Supervisors provided such written comments are received by the Board prior to 1 pm, Friday, April 6, 2012.  Written comments may be mailed to Antelope County Board of Supervisors, POB 26, Neligh NE 68756.

Liquor License Hearing — Antelope Country Club

Notice is hereby given that the County Clerk of Antelope County, Nebraska, has been notified by the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission of Lincoln, Nebraska, that an application has been filed with said Commission by Antelope Country Club for a Class C Beer, Wine and Distilled Spirits, On and Off Sale Liquor License, located on the entire 100 acre tract in the NW 1/4 of Section 35, the NE 1/4 and the SW 1/4 of Section 34, all in Township 25 North, Range 6 West of the 6th,P.M., Antelope County, Nebraska.  Said application will be considered by the Antelope County Board of Supervisors at a public hearing to be held on April 3, 2012 starting at 9:30 AM in the courthouse annex, Neligh, Nebraska, at which hearing the County Board of Supervisors will receive evidence, either orally or in writing, from the applicant and any other person upon the propriety of the issuance of such license.  The County Board of Supervisors of Antelope County, Nebraska will either approve or reject the application and forward notice of their action to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission.  Dated this 28th day of March, 2012.
