Approved Ron Beckman’s conditional use permit.

Discussed replacing the culvert on 848 Road between Sections 22 and 27, Clearwater Township.

Approved paying the 2011/2012 NE Nebraska RC&D Council dues.

Approved paying the first half of the 2011/2012 Nebraska Association of County Officials dues.

Approved paying the 2011/2012 NE Nebraska Economic Development District dues.

Reviewed the sheriff’s April fee report.

Reviewed the clerk of the district court May fee report.

Reviewed correspondence.

Accepted the renewal with Ameritas Life Insurance Corp.

Re-appointed members to the Visitors Committee.

Approved replacing the north windows in the courthouse annex.

Approved the file transfer authorization from Spencer Fane Britt & Browne LLP to Woods & Aitken LLP.

Approved the permit to move structure submitted by Levi Borntrager.

Approved the May 3, 2011 and May 10, 2011 regular board minutes and the May 3, 2011 Board of Equalization minutes.

Approved the permit to place a permanent electric line beneath 866 Road, Sherman Township.

Discussed advertising for bids for county surplus property.

Reviewed the Region 11 Emergency Manager budget for 2011/2012.

No bids received for FEMA site 4-1.

Accepted the low bid from Matt Klabenes for the Neligh NE Bridge project.

Set the road closing hearing for a county road located between Sections 14 and 23, Ellsworth Township.

Discussed the Old Mill Bridge.  Rescinded the May 3, 2011 motion to remove the bridge.

Discussed the Orchard Bridge.

Requested Prochaska & Associates to meet with the county board regarding a new jail study.

Approved repairs to the old courthouse.

Heard from Dave Stiller with Asphalt Zipper.

Adopted the resolution regarding Invenergy’s conditional use permit review.

Meeting adjourned.

Invitation to Bid — Antelope County

INVITATION TO BID

Sealed Proposals for the construction of “Antelope County – Repair of Bridge C000221315, for Antelope County, Nebraska,” JEO Project No.110205, will be received by the County Clerk at County Courthouse, Neligh, Nebraska, until 10:00 AM on the 5th day of July, 2011, and thereafter will be read aloud.

The work consists of the following:

Removal and Installation of steel sheet pile backwall and rip-rap placement.

Proposals will be taken for said construction work listed above by unit prices, as an aggregate bid for the entire project.

All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the ENGINEER and must be accompanied by Bid Security of not less than 5% of the amount bid.  Bid Security to be made payable to the Treasurer of Antelope County as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses, to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith.

Plans, Specifications and Bid Documents may be inspected at the office of the County Clerk, Neligh, Nebraska, and will be issued by JEO Consulting Group, Inc., PO Box 1424, 803 W Norfolk Avenue, Norfolk, Nebraska 68702, In order to bid the project, the plans and specifications must be issued directly by JEO Consulting Group, Inc. to the bidder.

The County Board Chairperson and County Board reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to make awards on bids which furnish the materials and construction that will, in their opinion serve the best interests of the Antelope County, and also reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
