Antelope County’s valuation rose by more than 10 percent from one year ago, according to figures released last week by the Antelope County Assessor Gene Schaaf.

The assessor certified valuations for sub divisions for the purpose of taxation last week.

For Antelope County, the taxable valuation increased to $1,161,286,739. One year ago the valuation was set at $1,040,738,844.

Schaaf said Monday the county valuation rose 10.2 percent from one year ago, in large part, due to growth and changes in some ag land values.

A most heartfelt “thank you” to so many that remembered us with a card and good wishes for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was like Christmas in July! A sweet memory for us. Thank you also to our children and grandchildren for the “lovely” dinner party given to us July 31st. Thank you to my sister and her husband for the most memorable video of our 25 years together. It was such a fun and memorable occasion. A special thank you to Jeff and Lisa, particularly Lisa! The evening was awesome thanks to you. We have felt so special and so blest. Thank you to all — old friends, family and acquaintances. God Bless!

So gratefully,

Avis and Del Heithoff
