Antelope, Wheeler County Fairs Offer Something for Everyone
The Antelope County Fair is underway with a number of new attractions and some favorites from years past.
4-Hers will be showing their animals, seeking to claim purple ribbons. Others will be displaying their skills in designing clothes, cooking and other events during competition which has already begun and will conclude on Sunday, Aug. 1.
On Tuesday, 4-H/open class competition began with the dog show, cat show and small pets show. The dairy and horse shows are set for Thursday while poultry, rabbit, goat and sheep show competition will be held Friday. Saturday will feature the swine and beef shows.
While fairs are held to celebrate the achievements of 4-Hers, there is so much more to this year’s Antelope County Fair.
