Bode, Trowbridge Exchange Vows

Channon Malinda Bode and Bryan Lee Trowbridge were united in marriage on May 16, 2009 in an outdoor wedding in front of St. Bonaventure Church in Raeville with a reception and dance following at the Raeville Hall.

New Arrivals - Stoecker & Stuhr

Sarah Eisenmann and Jeremy Stoecker proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Gabriella Lynn, born Feb. 12 at Bryan LCH in Lincoln. She weighed 6 lbs.,  4 ozs. Her  big brother is Charlie, 5.

Grandparents include Jan and Roger Steenken of Beemer, Jackie and Neil Stoecker of Grand Island, and Leslie and David Eisenmann of Madison.

Great-grandparents include Betty and Dick Ray and Sharon and Don Eisenmann, all of Madison, and Orrin Steenken of Wisner.


Scott and Stephanie Stuhr of Elgin are the proud parents of a baby girl, Samantha Priscilla Stuhr who was born on July 15, 2009.

She weighed six pounds, 15 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long.

Grandparents are Dennis & Priscilla Blair of Elgin, Joe Stuhr, Jr. of Petersburg, and Jean Breen of Eustis.

Great grandparents are Jack & Mardelle Blair of Elgin, Margaret Dozler of Elgin, and Berniece Josten of McCook.

Great great grandmother is Selma Wilson of Neligh.

AC Zoning Office to be Closed August 3 & 10

The Antelope County Zoning office will be closed on Monday, August 3 and Monday, August 10 for out of town appointments. The office will be open on Tuesday August 4 and Tuesday August 11 for regular office hours.

Beckman travels to Shriner’s Hospital in Chicago

Beckman Contributes to Team’s Victory at 51st Shrine Bowl

LINCOLN — On his last visit to Memorial Stadium, Josh Beckman walked off the field a state champion.

On Saturday night, he walked off the field a winner again as the North defeated the South 19 to 16 in the 51st annual Shrine Bowl football game.

The game culminated approximately two weeks of preparation which included a trip to the Shriner’s Hospital in Chicago.

Beckman, as a senior, quarterbacked the Pope John Crusaders to the state football playoffs.
