Ruth E. Ollendick, 97 of Neligh, died Monday, April 27, 2009 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2009 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Elgin with Rev. Dan Andrews officiating and burial in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00-7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, with a 7:30 p.m. wake service at Huffman-Levander Funeral Home in Elgin.

On April 3, 2009, 411 FFA members filled the stage to receive their State FFA Degree. This degree signifies many things for the youth of today. It means they have developed leadership skills, kept accurate records of their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), and have been involved with local, state and national activities.

COLUMBUS — Competing last week at the Scotus Invitational, Pope John golfers finished eight out of 17 teams.
