The Elgin Volunteer Fire Department (EVFD) continues to receive donations from local and area residents for the new fire building. An account remains open at the Bank of Elgin for those wanting to help with the costs of the new equipment building.
Altogether, $2,723 was received last week. New donations were received from Janice Schrage, Richard & Ina Kittelson, Ron & JoAnn Beckman/Beckman Lumber, Dennis & Rose Wiehn, Arlene Bergman, Jim & Anne Meis, Joseph & Pam Meis, Kyloe & Deb Warren, Charles & LeAnne Eggers, Dvorak Construction and Vince & Patricia Spieker. The donations raise the amount collected to $46,498.
