2014 Fall Festival To Be Held Saturday

The 2014 Elgin Fall Festival Crafts and Products Fair will be held Saturday, October 4 at the St. Boniface Gymnasium, St. Boniface Church basement and the KC Hall.
This marks the 35th year for the craft fair, bringing together area/regional craftsmen and area/regional shoppers for one fantastic day of homemade merchandise to buy and sell.
According to Patricia Spieker, among the many crafters’ items to be sold are knitted and crocheted items including plastic bags, wood crafts, seasonal decorative wood items, jewelry items, handmade dolls, stained glass, garden ornaments and iron art. The list goes on.
There will also be many sewn items, baby needs, quilts and tied fleece blankets.
The Young N’ Lively Club will be holding a bake sale. Also, there will be vendors in the church basement and KC Hall. Some of their items, she said, are Pampered Chef, Osborne books, Mary Kay makeup, Origami jewelry, Watkins products and Scentsy products. New this year will be Jamberry nail products and Plum Nuts snacks. As in the past, the St. Boniface Altar Society will be serving soup, sandwiches and other foods at their lunch stand. Take outs are available.
