Elgin’s 10 & Under softball team won their league tournament over the weekend to finish the season 13-0. The team traveled to Battle Creek on Friday, June 25, to open tournament play. In their first game Elgin beat Tilden 9-7. Hitting for Elgin were Paige Meis with three singles, Ashley Dowdy with a double and two singles, Liz Selting and Marie Meis with two singles each, and Heather Bauer, Amy Nelson, Grace Henn, and Maddie Schrage each with a single.
